COVID jabs given to millions of Brits are safe, despite 143 patients dying shortly after immunisation. The drugs watchdog said vaccines played no part in the fatalities, with almost all occurring in the elderly or ill. In total, there have been 22,820 reports of suspected side effects logged until January 24.
